STYLISH, spacious and high quality apartments are proving popular in the heart of Baldivis, where the newly completed ‘Jervis Rise’ apartments recently won the UDIA (WA) Award for Excellence in the Affordable Development category.

Exceptional design and construction efficiencies have produced a boutique finish for these one and two bedroom apartments, with a quality not normally seen at this price point. Located on the corner of Sherry Street and Nairn Drive in Baldivis, the 51 unique dwellings provide a diversity of living options that appeal to first home buyers, downsizers and investors.

With prices at the development starting at just $214,400*, the apartments offer premium features including 2.7m high ceilings, extra-large living areas, two lifts and secure undercover car bays. Selected apartments even include grassed backyards that are ideal for small dogs and families.

The UDIA Judges commented that “the attention to detail is impressive”, pointing out details such as its six-star energy rating, low strata fees, and the protected views across the Tamworth Wetlands are enjoyed from every apartment.

The complex, which is located 400m from the Baldivis Shopping Centre, was also a finalist in the UDIA’s Medium Density Award category.

A public ‘Grand Opening’ at the development on Saturday attracted more than 500 people.

Apartments WA Sales Manager, Chad Toquero said it was a great chance to show the community a relatively new housing type for the area.

“Baldivis mainly features the typical four-bedroom family home, and some people who attended had never actually been inside an apartment. A lot of the attendees were really surprised by the quality of the build and the generous size, especially at such an affordable price point,” he said.

“There were more than a few downsizers who are now considering apartment living as an attractive alternative. Quite a few first home buyers also liked the liveability of these apartments, as well as the idea of not having to worry about garden maintenance.”

Given the affordable price point, enquiry at Jervis Rise has been strong, with now only a limited number of apartments available. A final top floor one-bedroom one-bathroom apartment remains ($214,400*), as well as limited 2-bedroom 2-bathroom options starting from $244,000*.

Jervis Rise is open for viewing on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 3pm to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 3pm. www.jervisrise.com.au
